This has been a crazy week of goodness. First off with the aid of part lending teammates I cobbled together a new rig. Respectfully dubbed the Frankenbike, it features the frame/crank/front derailleur/seatpost from one ‘mate, shifters from another, and the front end/wheels/saddle/pedals from my old road bike, and the rear derailleur off my cross rig. Not slammed at the moment, perhaps soon. Really excited to get this beast over the bridge in the coming days. 

Full disclosure: the actual rig was built by yet another team member. My teammates are the best.
