So the city has begun to dig itself of this blizzard in earnest. Things were pretty gnarly and I do love the city on the first night of a storm when its deserted and quite. With a half belly of bourbon I walked down to the Gowanus Canal at midnight and looking at all decaying industrial skyline getting pounded with foul winter weather was delightfully soothing.  Today walking back to my apartment...
